LIABILITY AND INSURANCE
Wheeling Farm Stand Market is not responsible for theft or damage of property or equipment from the stalls, or elsewhere on the Market premises. Wheeling Farm Stand Market requires that all vendors carry liability insurance and have proof of said insurance with them at all times when present at the Market, as well as on file with the Market Manager. The minimum liability level of insurance is $1,000,000. 00. Vendors agree to defend Wheeling Farm Stand Market, Proof of insurance Shall be submitted with your application/contract in order for it to be considered
DISPLAYING AND SELLING GOODS
- Goods may not be sold directly from trucks.
- Vendors must furnish their own tables, chairs, and other display equipment.
- Vendors must provide their own protection as the Farm Stand Market is outdoors with no shelter
- Canopies must be secured by order of the Fire Dept.
- All items must be clearly marked showing prices in full view of customers.
- Vehicles must be parked in designated spaces.
Vendors must comply with rules and regulations of the state 0f Illinois Departments of Health, Agriculture , Countys of Cook & Lake. Vendors are responsible for payment of all taxes
Cancellation Policy
Vendors who cancel later than 12 Noon on the Thursday before Market day will be required to pay the stall fee or will Lose their prepaid fee.
Late Arrival Policy
Vendors are required to be in their designated market spot no later than 6:30 AM. Vendors who arrive after 7:30 AM will Forfeit their spot. Vendors who arrive after 8 am will not be allowed to participate in the market that day, no exceptions.
Local Foods Policy
We encourage our vendors to work with neighboring farms to bring a wider variety of product to the market
Trash Removal Policy
Vendors are required to dispose of their trash at the end of the market.
